Tussnex-AM contains Terbutaline sulphate-1.25mg, + Ambroxol Hcl. -15mg + Guaphenesin-50mg + Menthol-2.5mg each 5mg cough syrup.

Terbutaline in Tussnex-AM  prevents bronchospasm in patient with bronchial asthma and reversible bronchospasm associated with bronchitis and emphysema.

Ambroxol Hcl. in Tussnex-AM  possess mucokinetic and secretolytic properties. It also helps in removal of thick tenacious secretion in respiratory tract and reduces mucus statis as well as it also exhibits antioxidant properties.

Guaiphenesin in Tussnex-AM increases respiratory fluid and reduces the viscosity of thick tenacious secretion and acts as an expectorant. It is highly active in productive and non-productive coughs.

Menthol in Tussnex-AM provides relief from nasal congestion and provides cooling and soothing effect.
